3DS XL bottom screen gets dirty/marked up so fast

I have no problems with the TOP screen and wouldnt be so bad if the regular DS games did not play at the bottom screen but at the top, but the bottom screen, is a dust magnet, and gets dirty quick and there are all these little circle/marks on the screen, no scratches, but its kinda annoying, the top screen is fine.

Stop using your fingers? Wipe it off with a dust cloth before playing with a stylus?

im not using my fingers, and I use a cloth shirt to wipe it off. Who would be stupid enough to use their fingers with the 3DS?

Shocking that the screen you don't touch stays pristine.

When I got my XL it had some kind of residue on it that I had to rub off. Maybe yours still has some on it.

Do you have a screen protector applied? I find that they get dirty a lot faster than the screen does.

Screen protectors have absolutely nothing to do with preventing a dirty screen... so no? Clean the thing every once in a while. I had it for like a month before cleaning the bottom screen for the first time. It was only dusty. If you play a stylus-heavy game you HAVE to wipe it free of dust each time before playing.

But dirtiness DOES leave it with higher chances of getting scratches. I would get one just to be safe. They aren't expensive.

Yes, but that's treating a symptom not solving the problem. The problem is that TC is a dirty person.

You can try buying a matte screen guard. I have one and it keeps the bottom screen looking clean.
