I bought my 3ds in Australia but I'll move to Canada. Should I sell my 3ds?

Since I won't be able to buy games for it due to region restrictions right? What should I do?

You could buy games from the eShop.

X: X... you called me X... is that my name?
Dr. Light: That's right. It's a variable. It represents unlimited potential.

My advice would be to sell your 3ds in Australia and buy another one (For much cheaper than you could in Australia, game too) in Canada.

Unless of course you have a favorite game that wasn't released in the North American region, but the only game I know of that was in Australia that didn't come to America was some One Piece game.

Otherwise 3ds and all games will be much much cheaper in Canada than in Australia so there is really not much of a reason to keep your Australian model.

While you could import games for it that will cost you much much more money than simply buying a North American 3ds.

3ds costs about 200 dollars for an extra large here in North America and games are only 40 dollars each new. Now correct me if I am wrong but that is about half of what they cost in Australia no?
If you want a friend in Washington, get a dog.

Why would you want to sell it?

You can buy online with free shipping or travel to Australia once in awhile.. Its not like you will never visit Australia again, right?
