Play Coin limit

This is so stupid! Why in the world would Nintendo limit your ability to earn prizes?! I mean, I'd actually go out for a walk more often if I didn't have this limit! Seriously, does anyone know why they put this limitation into place, or if they plan on changing it any time soon?

Probably so you don't unlock everything in a day or two.

So that you don't set your 3DS on the wash machine and unlock everything in a day

How can something like that be abused, anyway? I mean, I can see how a game like FFXIV could be abused, in the sense that some people have more time to level up their characters than others do. That's why they had initially developed a system that would gradually decrease the amount of EXP you could get until you stopped receiving it altogether.
But this is an application meant for personal gain! It isn't something you lord over other people! "Oh, look at me! I've finished all of the puzzles! That makes me better than you, since you've only completed half of them!"

@Emperor_Z: I'm hoping you meant the dryer, but even then, why would you throw away an expensive piece of hardware like that? (Yes, I recognize jokes.)

Not in, ON. Those things shake a lot (or at least mine does. Maybe newer models don't).

Not surprised one bit by people here defending the limit. 10 a day is a joke. at least 100 coins per day should be allowed.

I don't even wanna know how many coins i've lost over the past 20 months i've owned my 3DS thanks to this stupid 10 coin a day limit...
