Mother a.k.a. EarthBound Zero. I've beaten it all the way through once, and I did enjoy it, and I've played through fairly far other times. It hasn't exactly aged too well, and the battles are very slow moving, so it's a perfect example of an NES RPG. Still got that wonderful Itoi charm, with an unforgettable soundtrack. Anyone else play it through to the end, either the prototype version or the translated version?

I thought you couldn't beat that game because there was some sort of Checksum error that manifests at some point.

Polite conversation should never include Politics, Religion or what constitutes an RPG.
Playing a game for it's story is like watching porn for it's story.

I beat it. :3

The whole game is murder, and then the last fight is way too easy because the last boss's every attack can be shielded. >.<

I did twice. Great game. The one gripe I had was the random encounters :(

I beat it when I was using my Sony Xperia play as my main phone. It was a great time killer when waiting for stuff.
