Sakurai is having some problems with his hand/arm that won't allow him to do much with it. He said he can't play-test the games anymore until it heals, and that he doesn't know how it will affect the upcoming Smash Bros.

He didnt say that, what he has cat be cured, hes just going to have to keep developing the game the best he can. One mans hand problem will not effect the release date or the quality of the game

I'm excited for it. Kid Icarus Uprising was amazing(my GotY for 2012), so I can't wait to see how the new Smash Bros on 3DS turns out. Have no idea how I'm going to afford a WiiU for the new Smash Bros there since there's a number of other things I "need" to get as well. Hopefully the 3DS version will be enough to satisfy me.

My guess is we'll finally get a trailer at this year's E3 and an update on Sakurai's hand in a press release a few days later.

I always completely forget there's even going to be a 3DS version.

This is going to be overwhelming!
Holy **** the 3DS is going to be successful as ****.

Yeah so, I'm just really wondering how different the two will be, and how they managed to work on 2 Smash Bros games at once. If they were able to make such an amazing and content-filled game like Melee in 2 years or less, I have faith that it will be fine.

He also made a comment days later for us " Not to worry " about the development of the Super Smash Brothers Games.

If he can't play test it, he will have the person he trusts the most do so, or the next most qualified person.

They won't delay a game for just him.....he wouldn't allow it.
