Super Mario Bros 3: Any chance of a remake?

Has there been any word that they will ether add SMB3 to the E-Shop or even make a remake of it? I really hope so, that is my top fav Mario game, and I really want it on the 3DS.

It was the only Mario game I had growing up (until the N64). I'm thoroughly sick of it. Play it on any one of the hundred other devices you can already play it on...

It's been released in the Japanese eshop, EU and NA still waiting.

Any need? is the best question. Most they should do is release the GBA game with the eShop levels available, but with slight modifications that would require you unlock them.

What's with people and friggin remakes these days? The game's just fine as it is. No need to change anything.

I remember when they "remade" it for the GBA and charged 30 dollars for it.

Oh Nintendo, you're so silly!

I wouldn't touch it if I were them.

So many other games they could remake and to be honest I think we'd all rather see a brand new set of 80 levels than a re-make at this point.
