"Non-innovative?!?"

Mario 64 with a water gun =/= innovative gameplay.

"I don't like it, therefore it's not innovative."

I want a Super Mario 64 remake on 3DS, with analog controls.

Sunshine would look horrible on the 3DS.

I'd buy Sunshine on the 3DS. I'd rather see Super Mario 3D Land 2, though.

"The series as a whole (apart from the first game for obvious reasons) has never done much in innovation"

Sure, except for Mario 3, Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island, Mario 64, Mario Galaxy...

Wait, what was your point again?

If Super Mario Sunshine isn't innovative, how is Super Mario Bros 3 or Super Mario Wrold innovative?

Wait... People thought Sunshine was bad? I'll give you that it was difficult, yes, but not bad by any stretch of the imagination.

Galaxy is 64 in space.
Galaxy is 64, but with the added ability to make me dizzy.
In Sunshine, Mario got his Kazooie. Game was rad.

I have to ask - What is wrong with Mario Sunshine? It was an awesome game that provided a challenge most Mario games don't come close to. Heck, people are still posting screenshots on Reddit of their 119 complete Shine Spite collection!

You mean besides the lackluster noninnovative gameplay (ooh, a WATER can!), repetitive environments and groan-worthy Disney Junior vomitous plot?

You hate those things, yet you're praising Super Mario Galaxy...?

I would buy it day one yes they was some things I hated about the game such as the camera glitching out at times or the terrible story it tried to have but that does not take away the fact it was amazingly fun and could be a challenge at times
