Thats just the easy way of saying Galaxy 2 is better than Galaxy 1 while being slightly worse than 64, which Sunshine is a direct improvement over.

3DLand was way too easy and NSMBU might have been ok but it took 6 years for us to get an NSMB game that wasnt a rehash. Underwhelming really.

2nd Super Mario Advance (Bros. 2/Classic Bros. Remix)
3rd Super Mario World (I'm not really sure whether this should be 2nd or 3rd due to nostalgia)

I thoroughly enjoyed NSMB 2 and Wii. In fact, I enjoyed NSMB 2 more than the original. I guess I have bad taste in games.
