I've played both the demos of their respective games, and I like both.

However, I'm not so good with Strategy RPGs. Still, I'm willing to push through and play Fire Emblem till the end if I choose to buy it.

I'm a Monster Hunter fan, although I do wonder if it's going to have that lasting appeal on the 3DS.

So, what would you players suggest for me?

FE: Awakening, mostly because that game has already been somewhat hard to find, and because most Fire Emblem games tend to get rare and price-gouged quickly. Something tells me you'll be able to easily find Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for a longer period of time.

True.

I'm getting MH since I got lucky on getting the last copy of FE:A in Best Buy 3 weeks ago.

That's a tough choice. While I thoroughly enjoyed playing Awakening, Monster Hunter appears to have the greatest amount of game play between the two. So my vote is for Monster Hunter... At least you will have that to play until you can pick up Fire Emblem although you could always download the digital if you're having a hard time finding a copy in the stores.

With your bad back, I don't think you should be picking up any girls.
Van Morrison is still a really cool cat. O.K.?

FE without a doubt. MH may get boring and repetative like it did for me on the Wii after 15hrs.

I'll buy MH when it gets cheaper, the lack of online for the 3DS is off putting. Forcing us to buy a WiiU is poop.
