Has anyone ever done an actual speed comparison? e.g. a side-by-side youtube video.
If i remember correctly, somebody posted a link about this very subject to youtube a few days ago. Unfortunately, I didn't watch, but i'm assuming it was some kind of comparison. --- Black 2 FC: 3654 8353 8201 "Barkley: Shut up and jam! Gaiden" Is the best RPG of all time.
No. Just play and game stop worrying abt lil details
In some games, like Monster Hunter, loading times can be important. If your friend's getting wailed on in the other room, but it takes you 20 seconds to load, it can be a pretty bad thing. --- Use the damn search button! http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/Monster_Hunter_Wiki
get a class 10 sdhc for the 3ds and load times won't be such a burden.
may not be so informal, but the load times are slower on a class 4 as opposed to a class 10. --- Touhou/MLP/Animu/Gaming Fan. PSN: MortaLPortaL SteamID:MortaLPortaL_ Phenom II X4 965(4.0ghz), Sapphire 7870, 8GB Gskill, BioStar A880G+, Seasonic S12II, W8.
Well, when it comes to the 3DS, you aren't going to notice too much of a difference; however the 360 and PS3 are a different story. Lets use Sonic 2006 for an example lol. Off of the disc (on the 360 version), the loading screens are around 25 seconds long; if you install the game however, then they're about 15 seconds long. Sure it isn't always the case (sometimes it loads a bit faster or slower), but its basically a 10 second difference there.
Also when it came to games like Halo 3 (which I had installed while my friends didn't), the map always loaded for me quite a few seconds ahead of my friends online. --- 3DS FC - [1203-9218-7780] | XBL - [NettoSaito] | PSN - [NettoSaito] | Nintendo Network - [NettoSaito] Netto's Game Room - http://nettosgameroom.blogspot.com/
