You guys are giving some great recommendations. However, as for Revelations I really want to get it... but then they announced the damn console ports so I dont know what to get now :(

Also I have never played an Animal Crossing game is that similar to anything?

Revelations is like $20 on 3DS versus the $50 that the console versions are going to be. It's a great portable title IMO.

I dunno what to compare Animal Crossing to... I guess the closest I can imagine is The Sims + Harvest Moon? You'd have to watch footage for a better feel.

Well, Harvest Moon I guess, but not really. It's basically a laid back collecting/gathering/customizing/decorating virtual life kind of game...

Ah okay thanks for clearing that up. I always wanted to be good at the Harvest Moon for SNES but my god I sucked at it. I am determined to figure it out one day.

Well you could check out Harvest Moon: A New Beginning on 3DS. It's considered one of the better games in the series.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner - Soul Hackers
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team
Project X Zone
Rune Factory 4
Mario Golf: World Tour
Pokemon X/Y

Seems like a lot of games to me.

Only interested in these two. They need to do a lot better than that.

It's not their fault your taste in games is limited.

That's for the Wii U, not 3DS.
