What's the matter with Tales of developers?

They can probably make more from DLC on them, too.


I see what your saying but after a certain point that's more of tales studio fault. I mean it looks like every game they made for a different console gets an enhanced edition for Sony so why would people buy a game when they can wait a year and get the better version?

Though you can also argue that the sales of the original lost by people avoiding it to wait for the port are offset by the sales of the port lost by people who buy the original but are unwilling to buy the same game twice. And don't forget that in most cases it's not something you can easily predict. For example, Symphonia was ported before porting was an unsurprising thing, Abyss took the better part of a decade and came out of nowhere, and Vesperia was believed to be a 360 exclusive for a good while. Anybody who follows the series probably could've saw Graces f coming, though.

So they can play the game now and sell it and then get the enhanced version later on?

I love the Tales series, even more than Final Fantasy games. I just wish we got more localized, I dont care about what system its on as long as we get it.
