Am I too old to play my 3DS XL in public?

I'm 27, but I haven't whipped out a DS in public since my college days. I just got a 3DS recently for Monster Hunter 3U... so anyone think it'd be weird if I were to whip it out on the bus on my commutes to/from work ( it's a 40 minute train ride. )

They will chastise you and you will be blacklisted from many public events.

Of course not. People play on their phones and tablets all the time don't they ?

If it's a Pikachu 3DS XL and you're more than 14 years old you're good
Don't let your younger siblings play with it though

No. You shouldn't care about what you look like to other people. You're too old for that.

Heck, I played my pikachu 3ds in public... but will probably use my old one mostly.

Do what makes you happy and don't worry about what everyone else thinks.

I'm 29, I and my wife play them in public all the time. You should only care about what you think is acceptable.

Yeah I usually go by a saying "Follow your bliss." so I pretty much whipped it out this morning for MH3U. The last time I played a portable in public was during my college years, so it's been a while.
