Downloadable games that is. I've seen conflicting opinions and want to know so I know what to pick for myself later.

Why are people with fast SD cards getting 6 second saves in MH3U and others are getting 30?

Fast SD cards read and write faster than slow SD cards.

That's what I thought, and since it's reading the card when you're playing a downloadable game the answer would be "yes" it matters.

Download? No.
Saving and stuff WILL be affected by class speed though.
And besides, you'd save MAYBE a dollar, at *most* by getting a class 4, instead of a class 10.

Class doesn't matter as much as speed, and speed is expensive. A cheap Class 10 is equivalent speed wise to an expensive Class 4 or 6. The difference between a cheap Class 10 and an expensive one is about $10- $15 for a 32GB or about 50% .
