its not question of being rich or poor, its question of what the game is worth.

Is there enough content in the game that it could have seen a full retail release?
If yes, then it's not overpriced.

The problem is that people see digital distribution, and want everything to be cheaper. It's just like confettistorm said. There's no set retail price for these digital titles, so the price can range anywhere from $5 to $20. Usually it comes down to how much content is in it.

It probably could have been a retail release for $40, and then people would have thought it was a steal to get it at $20 at some point. $15 seems fair to me. Just because something is digital doesn't mean it should be 5 times cheaper.

At USD$14.99, it's definitely overpriced. However, as I don't really like rhythm games, I couldn't give you a definitive price.

one review claimed it doesn't have a lot of content once beaten or much replay value so i'd say going by that it should be cheaper

if it was on a cart in a box in the store people wouldn't be whining.

places with a completely different business model like steam have ruined DD for anyone else because everyone now expects games to be cheap via DD.

Hurricane, it isn't just Steam. Xbox Live Arcade and PSN are both much better than the eShop's prices.

14.99 = overpriced? Are you guys kids without jobs or something?

This game has a great length for a downloadable title, and it's made by one of the biggest companies in the world (thanks to Pokemon), and you guys think 15 bucks is too much?

Uh.

Journey ain't short. That's like saying Melee is short - you can play all stages, all characters, all items, in a single day. Doesn't mean the value is gone.

It's also one of the highest-rated games of last year. No reason for it to be cheap.
