After Pokemon X and Y come out, GameFreak should take a break from Pokemon

Agree. As much as I love Pokemon, I don't think they need to release a Pokemon game every year.

Actually they should step back from the 3DS after X/Y, and not waste resources on a new version, remake, or gen for a bit. Rather that should lend there talent to help make a WiiU Pokemon game something like Coliseum & XD. A story driven Pokemon game for consoles, but with far more amenities closer to the main line games. Since B&W they've been racing the whole generations, where as something like WiiU could use a serious bit of Pokemon.

I know they'll never create that Pokemon MMO people keep bring up. And it sounds like People want something exactly like the above for consoles outside of Japan, at the very leased. So why not help some people to make one for WiiU, and brush up on making better 3D games, come time for next gen pokemon, in the process.

I wish they would make a pokemon game that was actually innovative and different...

Every single pokemon game feels the same. It took them this long to even make it 3D, and it still uses a dumb gridlocked walking system.

EDIT: I think a pokemon game with a new battle system would be spectacular. Imagine actually controlling the pokemon and your 4 abilities have cooldowns that are a few seconds and you actually move and control it yourself in real time. Would make the game much more skill oriented and more challenging.

go to hell your not a fan of the series if you want a completly different genre.
(and if you REALLY wanted it go play ranger)

And it's not that hard to not be so defensive. I actually don't play every game. It would just be nice to see something different come out. Or if they changed it up a bit more between games, I'd definitely be on board to buy every game.

they change plenty i could list 17 things they changed by the time b/w2 came out but you don't care because it's still turn based...

It has nothing to do with it being turn based. I love that it's turn based, actually. But, you don't care because you have to defend the games no matter what.
