DO NOT start FF 3 or FF4 DS as you first FF games.

FF games 1-3 are super hard for beginners.

play FF 4 the psp or gba version.
then play FF 5 the gba or ps1 version on psn.

then play FF 6 then ff7 then ff 9 then ff10

only then go back to play the much harder ones.

FF3 ds requires a ton of grinding and the final dungeon has no savepoints and is very big and takes a long time to complete.

if he only has a ds there's not exactly much choice for him, and i think 3 is a better buy personally. i don't know about 4HOL, but i don't think its that similar to the numbered games.

Huh? FFIII's remake is laughably easy. I don't see any ways in which it would be "super hard for beginners." I and II on NES and PS1, yeah, those ones could be "super hard for beginners," as well as maybe III's NES version. But no way in hell are the remakes of any of the three "super hard."

Heck, you suggested V, and that's probably the hardest in the series after original II.

For those players who don't speak Australian, we have provided an English translation of the previous scene. Do you want to replay the scene?

This is serious business, remember that.
