So other than Disgaea and Pokemon, what are considered the longest games/

Considering it took me 200 hours just to reach the last boss of Monster Hunter Tri, I'd bet it would take around 300 just to get to the last boss of Ultimate. I'm pretty confident in saying Monster Hunter Ultimate is the longest game on the 3ds.

Can't get much longer than Animal Crossing. That game never ends! ^-^

I'm going to have to agree. My Kid Icarus and Fire Emblem hour counts are right around 100, but I'm at 75 with Monster Hunter and I've barely made a dent. And that is offline - I have no use for multiplayer, online or off, in any video game. So MH gets the longest 3ds game award.

Monster Hunter can be played for thousands of hours, offline.

That is a lie you will be bored well before hour 1000. Anyone who says otherwise is lying to try and make a point.

Online however... is a much different story.

Tzuba is a known MH fanboy though so this statement is to be expected.

He's not lying. I've done so on P3rd and will do so on triG Ultimate.

Not a 3DS game but one game comes to my mind: Phantasy Star 3. Takes 3 generations to finish it. ;)

yea and each generation is verry short and has verry little replay value there is a reason it tends be ranked the bottom of the original 4 games

LOL I got 200 hours in Disgaea 4 i've heard it takes somewhere around 400 hours to 100% and platinum.
other than that let me off the top of my head...

Borderlands 2, I must've spent like 100 hours on ONE character and I haven't finish the 3 current DLC campaigns on true vault hunter mode.
but okay let's say it takes 50 hours to finish every mission on one character for both playthroughs...
there's a 6th character DLC coming in may, so about 300 hours for all 6 characters
but WAIT this week a new update puts a THIRD difficulty to play through, so assuming like 20 hours each character more that's like... 400-500 hours MINIMUM just finishing every mission, how about Legendary loot!? trophies!? all the challenges in game!? oh and btw this game is infinite since you can reset challenges unlock more upgrades and play through the game AGAIN AND AGAIN until you literally break the game.

Kid Icarus takes a lot of grinding (unless you got friends who give you rank 300 weapons) there's like 400 challenges to complete, collecting hearts takes a LOT of time, fusing weapons is time consuming and without a 2nd 3DS to help "clone" weapons it takes a WHILE to get a decent weapon, but for a weapon that'll get you through every stage on intensity 9.0? PHEW good luck!
