45,000 week one sales. Iit does not meet expectations. Capcom was expecting at least Resident Evil Revelations type of success, which admittedly is not that much to ask for. First Castlevania bombs and now this. I doubt we will get Monster Hunter 4 now.

Caslevania bombed because it is utter garbage, the Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask has way more content and more replay valued that that garbage called Mirror of Fate.

Monster Hunter is not for everyone, but you need to admit, there have been people asking which game to buy, refering to the 3 major releases for March, Luigi's Mansion, Monster Hunter or Castlevania, people is not swimming in money, so they have a hard time picking a game.

Has a hardcore type of game did well on the 3ds yet? How did Snake Eater do? I would love to see more castlevania and resident evil type of games on this system. Especially some good third person or first person shooters.

Snake eater was sent out to die, basically every system got a better version with more games included for like 10$ more. I myself got the vita collection for 5$ less than it would cost me to get the 3ds version >_>

Revelations did modestly well IIRC, and despite what I said I don't know snake eater's numbers.

Citation needed.

And how is this a bomb exactly?
