Luigi's mansion 2 is garbage and has stupid clunky controls and terrible pacing don't waste your money on it. Go with nsmb2 you won't be disappointed.

That's just not true. -_-

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon and it isn't even remotely a contest.

NSMB2 is a cheap cash-in on an increasingly stale franchise. I'm ready for a good main series Mario game again Nintendo, something along the lines of 64, Sunshine, or World. We've had enough point a to point b jumpathons since the first NSMB.

I definitely agree to that. I felt like selling NSMB2 & NSMBU after 100% finished with them. Oh & the best main series that needs to be revived along with World is Galaxy.

I'm about to buy Luigi's Mansion 2 so I can't tell you an answer yet TC. Not until my 100+ games backlog goes down a bit. :-)

NSMB2 is a fantastic game, it just plays it very safe.

No, NSMB2 is just "good". Not "great", not "excellent", just "good". The game has nothing to it besides levels to complete.

The platforming is flawless

The platforming in the NSMB series in general is low by Mario platformer standards. It's certainly not flawless; nothing is flawless.

i like how you'd rather have crappy games that "innovate" then good games that don't.

What in my post made you come to that conclusion?

More villains need to be protagonists. BiS proves it can work.
Ridley, Ganondorf, Fawful, Bowser, and Dimentio all for their own games!

Luigi's Mansion.

Forget that NSMB2 even exists. It's a pile of crap that dumps all over the good name of Mario games.

nsmb 2 is the worst Nintendo/Mario game in a decade

LM2 is one of the best Nintendo games

it's a really easy choice

NSMB2. It's got much better level design than the DS NSMB, and the DLC is outstanding.

I enjoyed NSMB2 more.

While NSMB2 had mediocre reviews, I know I will end up liking it because I enjoy every Mario platformer. It's lack of originality probably won't bother me that much.

And this is why. Yeah, it feels like the other NSMB games, but it doesn't matter, because this is pitch-perfect platforming. LM2's gameplay does not stack up.
