Seriously, HarmoKnight, Seriously

Best thing smoking' on the eShop. Took a chance and downloaded the demo last night and was absolutely FLOORED. Tempo is badass, IMO. The 3D is probably the best I've seen yet on the system. The rhythm game hasn't been this riveting since Space Channel 5. Buy this NOW.

I would personally thing Bit.Trip fits that bill and is more recent than Space Channel 5... but your sentiment is noted. :3

No thanks, I'll wait until Nintendo has it on sale.

Then try Bit.Trip games. HarmoKnight just gets annoying to me, it's sort of rhythm gameplay pasted onto something else.

What is with all the negativity towards HarmoKnight? It's a great game. I wish people would give it a chance.

No negativity from me. the only reason i haven't bought it yet (and i've been planning to buy it since it was annouced for the US) is the fact that i haven't been able to get past the "Bee" level yet in the demo version, lol :(.

I just don't understand what i'm doing wrong here. i have heard that you are able to use the d-pad as an alternative to the circle pad.. and that it's more responsive and quicker but i have no idea if this is true or not. can anyone confirm this?.

Also the fact that i suck at rhythm games in general doesn't help matters much either...

Yes, you can use the D-pad, and I think it feels more responsive.

Have fun waiting forever. judging by their most recent rate of a discount and IF they do put it on sale in the future at most they will knock off 33% which would be $9.99. i highly doubt it will go any lower. this is Nintendo after all..
