Was anything Professor Layton-related mentioned during today's Direct?

Still doesn't make sense.

Pattern of 5 games being released much, much later >>>>>> Game selling more in Europe
Previous games also sold more in Europe, yet they didn't mind letting Europeans wait for an extra year or so.

Look, you're getting it all wrong. Only The Curious Village came out much later in Europe because it hadn't been particularly successful in America and they decided to hold it off a while. The US release was 02/10/08, the EU release 11/07/08. But from the second game on, we only had to wait one more month at the latest.

Layton 2: 08/24/09 (US) - 09/25/09 (EU)
Layton 3: 09/12/10 (US) - 10/22/10 (EU)
Layton 4: 10/18/11 (US) - 11/25/11 (EU)
Layton 5: 10/28/12 (US) - 10/26/12 (EU) Oh hey, look at this! I had forgotten about it!

Had a Street Fighter signature for four years, but Crapcom doesn't deserve such recognition anymore.

Just saying, Layton 4 in the US had London life, and was the superior version, they better add that in 6, or put it on the eshop for the Eu'ers.

I imported it, and it was ok, but I'd pay 5 (7$) standalone for it.

It's a big shame the 3DS is region locked.

Now I'm stuck with awful Luke voice acting.

Yeah, that was a strike against Nintendo of Europe, and it happened because they didn't anticipate it would take so long to translate the main game in all five languages. Still, they could've at least kept it untranslated in English...
