So, 3DS has games and vita doesn't... but what are they?

Honest to goodness, i'm having a hard time getting excited about any games other than the new monster hunter. With the current lineup of games and the recently announced, i'm finding it difficult to settle on another title to pick up with my 3ds in the next month. Maybe i'm overlooking some key titles or i just haven't given enough research on some.

So, Gamefaqs... help me out here, what are all these titles people are saying make the vita look like it has no games?

Be as exhaustive as possible, even if it's not something i typically play, i'll give it some research to see if i might be able to get excited about it. Thanks in advance for your guys' input.

You're not very good at this.
So you like Monster Hunter, eh...
What other types of games do you like?

Based on MH3 I'd recommend grindy rpgs or action games with collecting stuff... Etrian Odyessey 4, Animal Crossing, Kid Icarus, LEGO City Undercover, Project X Zone, SMT 3 and 4

I said in my original post be as exhaustive as possible, i don't want to limit the suggestions based on my usual taste. Not trying to be a jerk, just want to hear out all of the exceptional games that you guys play/have played, and possibly some feedback. I came to gamefaqs to hear it from gamers. Thanks again.

Here is a list of some of the best 3DS games I've played and some thoughts I had on each of them.

Super Mario 3D Land (pretty much a must have)
Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D (the best version of one of the greatest games of all time)
Resident Evil: Revelations (the best RE since 4)
New Super Mario Bros. 2 (not very original, but still well made and fun)
Theatrhythm Final Fantasy (this game genuinely caught me off guard with how much fun it is)
Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance (a solid KH game, nothing groundbreaking)
Paper Mario: Sticker Star (an underrated albeit basic RPG/platformer hybrid)
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon (an extremely well made game, definitely one to look in to)
Fire Emblem: Awakening (a must own, probably the best SRPG I've ever played)
Kid Icarus: Uprising (a fun game if you can get past wonky controls)
Mario Kart 7 (probably my favorite MK game, it's a ton of fun)
Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask (an amazing puzzle game)
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (doesn't sound like you need convincing on this one)

And those are just the games that are out, we've still got Donkey Kong Country Returns, Pokemon X/Y, Shin Megami Tensei IV, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Project X Zone, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, Zelda: A Link to the Past 2, a new Yoshi's Island, and a lot more coming.

Pretty much this.

I'll add my own few titles that might interest you

Etrian Odyssey IV - Try the demo out. It's pretty much a first person dungeon crawler RPG. A love letter to the old school RPGs
Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers - Like Etrian Odyssey IV, but has phenomenal characters and engrossing story. Battles are similar to the SMT series.

Kid Icarus: Uprising was the the best game I played in 2012, and Super Mario 3D Land was one of my top five games of 2011.
