Really disappointed with Nintendo and their games.

Especially after watching Nintendo direct. More rehashes, rereleases, reiterations, remakes and pretty much anything designed to appeal to nostalgia. Why not give us something fresh with Zelda instead of a bastardization of LttP (which hasn't even aged that well, nor is it even the best 2D Zelda). Yoshis Island looked exactly the same as the SNES version except now we're treated to less attractive visuals.

But I'm more disappointed with the fanbase for letting them turn into this. Everything Nintendo has pumped out for the 3DS has been one big pile of meh (with the exception of Kid Icarus). We have too many fans clammering for the same games they've been playing for the last 20 years and it's making Nintendo stagnate beyond belief. It's like they have a lottery box where they pull out a couple random franchises every year and proceed to make it into another iteration.

If you don't like it, get a new system. Stop trying to fish for people to agree with you just so you feel your opinion is valid. Makes you look desperate.

Play Angry birds or an endless runner.

Seriously you can't accuse Nintendo of getting stale, they still deliver. M&L looks unique, Zelda has 2 new mechanics now, Yoshis Island doesn't need ,major changes.

I suppose that I can respect your opinion, but I couldn't disagree more. I almost completely ignored Nintendo during the Wii generation, but I started playing the Mario and Luigi games, and they were massive amounts of fun for me. So I took a chance and bought an original 3ds, and I absolutely loved Mario 3d Land. Every game that they've put out for the system (that I've played) has, to me, been fantastic, or at the very least extremely fun.

My love of Nintendo back, I bought a Wii U as well, and I'm enjoying it too. But, to each their own I suppose.

If you think 3ds has bad games, then don't even look at the competition.
