Mega Man 3 cartridge was green in Japan?

I bought the Japanese version of Mega Man 3 on my Japanese 3DS, and the cartridge appears green when you select the icon.

Anyone know why this game would not be the normal grey or why it would be green of all things?

By the way, it was interesting to play Castlevania II for the Famicom Disk System. The tunes were really funky.

Wouldn't surprise me. The first game's cart was blue, wasn't it?

EDIT: Yep, it's a green cart alright.

For those players who don't speak Australian, we have provided an English translation of the previous scene. Do you want to replay the scene?

Yes, 3 is green, 4 is orange, 5 is a light blue, and I think 6 is yellow

Also Famicom games have no standard color, famicom games can be any color the person who made them wanted them to be.

Going by my collection:

Rockman: Blue
Rockman 2: Red
Rockman 3: Green
Rockman 4: Orange
Rockman 5: Blue-green/(nearly teal?)
Rockman 6: Yellow
Rockboard: Light/sky-blue

x23sephiroth23x mentioned most of them. Famicom games had a lot of colors to them. The Super Mario Bros. games are all yellow(including the Disk System game). That is, except for Super Mario USA(SMB 2), which is pink.
