Quick question about system transfer.

Say I do a system transfer with a game already on the system. (I.E. Going from a regular 3DS to the Animal Crossing 3DS XL that comes out later this year)

How does that exactly work? Will my old stuff get transferred without overwriting the game on the new system? Because I have a 16GB SD card I wanna use (that has my stuff) and I'd want to put Animal Crossing on that card.

You'll be told to move the SD card from the source system to the target system (so you'd take your card from your regular 3DS and put it in the AC XL). Obviously Animal Crossing won't be on this card, but you'll be able to download it to the card after the transfer is complete (I did this when I got the Mario Kart XL).

Indeed. The game will no longer be pre-installed on the system, but you can reinstall it again from the eShop for no charge.

All downloads from both systems merge onto the target system.
