Going digital sucks.

On the bright side it saves you from all that clutter and inconvenience such as games collecting dust and becoming a hoarder.

Lol, just trying to find excuses for why going digital is good.

My local EBGames has a used copy of Fire Emblem on their counter. It's been there for over 2 weeks now lol.

You can still probably find them, but for a First party nintendo game so shortly after launch they're stupidly uncommon, even amazon is backordered for 2-3 weeks. Having the E-shop as a option as fine, but if they're seriously running far lower prints to force people onto it, that's just a dick move.

I don't want to pre-order a game I'm not sure I'll like in order to attain physical copies.
I actually like to consult reviews before doing so or ask around on forums a bit.
For something like Animal Crossing and SMT IV, to me that's a no-brainer. But having never played a Luigi's Mansion game I wasn't exactly sure if I wanted to pick up Dark Moon first day. Now that gameplay videos and reviews are out, along with all this positive reception, the thing just up and vanishes from vendors everywhere, online and in stores.

Look on the bright side, no need to pay retail price of 100 for a 32gb card. A really slow one at that. Too bad speed doesn't help with the 3ds.

A better account system would really help. Start cloud storage service, give it a cute Nintendo nickname for the kids, and integrate console and handheld play somehow, they need to hold their own if they want to keep competing. 3DS is already seeming outdated to me for some reason (I still love the games).

Maybe the online sales structure once Iwata keeps his word and steps down after another year of sales loss for the company.
