Has anyone had any success with top screen screen-protectors for an XL?

I have one on the bottom screen that's been applied perfectly, but I've had no luck with the top screen. At first the only ones available in Australia where a budget brand and the protector didn't even have rounded corners to fit the screen, so there where going to be massive bubbles around the side if I used it.

So I pre-ordered some of the official ones and when they arrived I got home with them only to find that they only provided protectors for the bottom screen. So they were absolutely useless and another waste of $15.

Next up i tried a brand called Bigben, and they looked to be of a decent quality. The only problem is they're a millimetre too large and cause massive bubbles around the edge of the screen. Not to mention you only get one set, and after trying multiple times to reapply it so it sits flush it was pretty much ruined.

$45 down and so far no luck. Any of you have a recommendation? (and yes, I really would prefer one.)

I have the PowerA ones that came in the 3DSXL "starter kit" and other than a few specks of dust they both went on perfectly fine, relatively flush and even.

I was irritated at the dust specs at first but its a minor annoyance that isn't noticeable when the screen is lit and I'm focused on playing.

I swear you need to be in a sterile lab clean room to apply these things w/o getting a speck of dust under them and if you have to peel it off to try again you may as well throw it in the trash.

Might check ebay for it. thanks guys.

note that the case/pouch thing has no room in it for anything besides the 3dsxl. I bought the pack because it had a case and screen protectors and figured "two birds, one stone" but the case isnt what I had hoped for. the other stuff is just bonus crap IMO as I have no need for more styli/headphones/game cartridge case.
the car charger might come in handy if i go camping or something but the whole package is less than ideal. I'll likely buy another case in the future that can carry the 3ds AND games but thats just me.
The screen protectors work fine though, assuming you have a clean room to install them in :)

Damn. That sucks about the case. I got a free starter pack that included a case when I bought my 3DS, but the section that holds the games is really lose. I was on an 18 hour train ride the other day and all my games fell out and onto the floor. It was midnight and everyone was asleep, so I just had to hope I found them all. Luckily I did, but I'd like for that not to happen again.

Hori brand protectors work great and have a nice, easy installation method.

If you pay more than $5 for a screen protector you are a chump.

I got this best purchase I have made in accessories
