I'm wondering if the value will continue to go up as long as it's out of stock. On Ebay, Bids are currently going for around the same price I bought the game new, and these are used copies. I'm just not sure if Nintendo is going to restock the game a bunch real soon, or if Nintendo won't and will just hope people buy digital. Because if they won't, then the value should only go up.

I liked the game and all, but I beat it and probably won't ever play again until maybe a few years from now.

TL;DR: Should I sell it now and get my pretty much my whole money back? Or wait in hopes that Nintendo don't massively restock it and the value shoots up even more?

The value of money won't go up that much. Even if it doubles... $80 is not a lot unless you don't work.

Ask yourself how much you actually need the money, and then make a decision based on that.

It sold over 400k copies in the US. I think they will restock this.

Amazon has a trade in deal right now where you get an extra $20 credit if you trade in $20. You might be able to get more than it's worth from that. I'm getting $47 for trading in Monster Hunter 3DS.
