Also, which games and why did you choose to download instead of buy the physical version?

I'm genuinely interested.

The only digital game I have is Fire Emblem: Awakening.

They were out of physical copies but I still wanted it so they gave me a download code for it.
When your friend's last words to you include "Who else will I eat ice cream with?!" You might want to rethink your friends. ^^;

Ocarina of Time because it was on sale.

Mario Kart 7 digital bundled with my XL, and got Mario 3D land code free on a promotion.

I bought Luigi's Mansion and Monster Hunter physical. Fire Emblem is sold out everywhere, i want to get the physical version.

Ill buy digital if its cheaper. I don't really collect, and i think digital would be my preferred method if it was done right: Cheaper + account system.

So far, I only have Luigi's Mansion. I plan to download others though, which I why I upgraded my SD card. Not only are there some games that I feel are perfect for going digital, like Animal Crossing, but there are just some games that I'd just like to be right on the system.

None.

Only Super Mario 3D Land since it was free. My other four games are actual cartridges since I'd rather have physical copies.

Only Brain Age and I regret getting it. (Not the digital copy, just the game in general)

Fire Emblem Awakening - Physical (I vastly prefer physical games)
Harvest Moon: A New Beginning - Physical (^)
Super Mario 3D Land - Digital (Because of the Club Nintendo promotion, it was a free download)
Unchained Blades - Digital (Because a physical version doesn't exist outside of Japan. You suck, Xseed!)
For those players who don't speak Australian, we have provided an English translation of the previous scene. Do you want to replay the scene?

Just Animal Crossing. As for the reason, it's the kind of game that I'd stop bothering with if I had to switch the card in and out all the time. I play it maybe 2-3 times per week now. I wouldn't be playing it at all if I had to switch cards.
