Hi guys, I have a 3year old nephew. I bought him a 3ds for Christmas and he been playing NSMBU2 and Mario Kart7. His birthday is in a few days and I want to get him a game. Any good ideas? He really seems to enjoy Mario and even SM3DLand. I was thinking about Freaky Formz.

My kids like Freaky Formz. Also any lego game tends to be a good choice. So maybe Lego City? My 5 year old loves Luigis Mansion as well.

Resident Evil.

Ok, ok, seriously though, uh...well, gee, maybe Kingdom Hearts DDD? It's pretty easy to button mash through on beginner and there's disney characters in it so that's a plus.

Iunno, I'd suggest a beat em up(That was my first video game I ever played: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers on the SNES <3), but the 3DS doesn't really have any. =/

You could also get Kirby Super Star Ultra on the DS.

This would be a great choice! Get him that Lego City game, man! I think there's also Lego Star Wars on the DS as well so you could get him that!

Thanks guys. If lego city is an open world like the one on wiiU he will have fun. Can't really die while exploring. Freaky Formz Is good too cause my sis can use it to teach him.

Would it be easy enough for him? And Do the figures need batteries?

Personal hatred for Skylanders aside, I don't know about it being easy or not, but I don't think you'd need batteries for the figures.

...Y'know, thinking about it, Skylanders doesn't sound like the best idea for a 3 year old, maybe give it a few years?

Teach him the ways of Tetris and only $10 bucks on the Eshop. I would also think that Angry Birds would be a good choice if an android device is not present for your nephew to use and that's on sale at Best Buy right now for $19.99. Freaky Forms, used at Gamestop for $15. Any Lego game would be good, Lego Lord of the Rings right now on sale for $14.99 right now at Best Buy, but thinking he would enjoy Lego Batman 2 better with all the added DC heroes. Good luck with your purchase.

You should get him Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, it is really simple, easy and totally appropriate for a 3 year old.

JOKE, not really, but anyway I suggest LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins or maybe Sonic Generations. Also if he likes Mario Kart 7 then maybe Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, I know it is really glitchy and had bad framerate but he isn't going to notice or even care at his age.
