If there was a Castlevania movie...

What game should be adapted?

In my humble opinion, I think both Order of Eclessia and Lament of Innocence would be perfect fits for the big screen.
Order of Eclessia is a great standalone game (there's no references to past games, just the intro [where the Belmonts are mentioned...I think]), meaning it could easily be adapted to the big screen. Also Shanoa...how do I say this without sounding like a creeper...

Lament of Innocence, however, is the start of the franchise per se...meaning it SHOULD be the first game to be adapted to the big screen, right? ...Well...what would happen if, for some reason, the movie flops? I would imagine the movie would have some sort of reference to the next game/movie (Dracula's Curse?). Maybe I'm just thinking way too much about this...

Before you mention the original Castlevania...do you really want to see a barbaric red-haired stripper running around killing monsters?
...Actually that sounds neato.

For those players who don't speak Australian, we have provided an English translation of the previous scene. Do you want to replay the scene?

As long as they don't make him look like Light Yagami.

1.I'd say Dracula X. That feels like it'd be the best one to be adapted. Order of Ecclesia is an alright choice, though.

2.There are multiple designs for Simon Belmont, they could keep the red hair and just make him look..sensible.

I think there was going to be a Castlevania movie at some point a few years back but I'm guessing it got scrapped.

1.- Eh, I dunno, Rondo of Blood? It's by far my favorite classicvania game, but I don't think it would fit as a m--

...Nevermind, it does.

2.- Well, the 'official one' is the red haired/glam/barbarian/stripper Simon...uh...
There's also the Mirror of Fate design, but I'm pretty sure everyone wants to forget about that game.

Now that I think about it, this would be the perfect Castlevania movie trilogy (trilogy because Hollywood hates money):
-Castlevania: Dracula's Curse. Alucard appears here, so...yeah. Let people know the character better before making him Symphony of the Night's main protagonist.
-Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. Richter appears here yadda yadda...
-Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. The game everyone loves...should be the last movie in the trilogy, right? All the characters from previous movies would appear here, just like the games. It makes sense. And it's the game everyone loves.

I'M A GENIUS AND HOLLYWOOD SHOULD HIRE ME TO MAKE A CASTLEVANIA TRILOGY!!
But of course, THEY are not geniuses. It will never happen...

I thought Van Helsing was supposed to be the Castlevania movie. It had a good deal of the bosses from the first game, and Dracula was the main antagonist.

It was, actually. It was going to be directed by Saw 1's director, I think.

None.

It needs to simply take elements and simple story structure from the games, put it's own spin on the tale. Much akin to the latest 3DS game and series, IGA really screwed it all up and meddled with forces he clearly didn't understand.

Daring to interleave IGAs faults into film, how dare you. Have at you!!
