Earbud recommendations?

I don't know about you, but I go through headphones pretty fast. The sound always goes out in one ear after about a year or so of use. Unless it has a long warranty, I recommend getting something pretty cheap. I used to get Sony Fontopias, but right now I have Coby CVE92 s because they were cheaper [$10]. I would recommend avoiding the cheap Skullcandy and Panasonic earbuds; they sound like listening through tin cans.

I use Nintendo ones. They were ten bucks at walmart and they have Mario mushrooms on them. I just got them cuz they were 10 dollars though.

Do you actually mean earbuds, or are you referring to the things that actually go inside your ear canal too (called IEMs)? If the latter, I strongly recommend the ATH CKM500s. They have surprisingly great sound quality, equivalent to full-sized headphones of considerably higher cost.

I spent over $200 on a pair of headphones I use JUST for my portable handhelds (DS, 3DS, and PSP).

There's nothing like playing a Japanese RPG using Japanese headphones made of Japanese cherry wood in Japan (mine are the Japanese versions made of Japanese wood instead of African wood that the American model uses). I just feel...so Japanese when I'm playing.

I'm sorry, but this is what came to mind when reading that:

I use Sennheiser CXII 300 earbuds for my 3DS and making music and Sennheiser IE80's for my Ipod.

Really you should buy something cheap as the games on the 3DS don't need really great earphones or IEM's in my honest opinion.

Perhaps anything 50 dollars or under would do the job nicely.
