I heard it was their other electrical products that are causing most of thier losses.

This, but from the average gamer standpoint this isn't well known.

how do you turn this on?

The whole thing seems rather monotone to me, maybe I shouldn't take breaks in between parts of the article. It is interesting though, but I wonder why Kotaku (a gaming site) barely mentioned the PlayStation?

Nintendo fans have the privilege of being able to saying a game is bad because the predecessor is better, not because the game is actually bad objectively.

Not sure about Sony as a whole because they are massive (although apparently loss making) but the Playstation brand is currently the best selling home console in Japan and the sales figures I just looked at show that the Vita is shifting more units than the WiiU. 3ds is the biggest seller over there though Nintendo is still the king of dedicated hand held console gaming.

Actually the 3ds alone is outselling vita, ps3 and psp combined.

And given Vita is outselling WiiU, what does that tell you?

Only in Japan. In the west, the WiiU is selling twice as much as the Vita, at around 60000 a month, with the Vita doing 30000 a month.

that may be good news
could you please cite sources?

360 - 261K
3DS - 230K
PS3 - 211K
Wii - 91K
NDS - 86K
Wii U - 67K
PSV - 33K
PSP - 8K
That is the sales from march they came from creamsugar on neogaf he's know to have access to npd.

Sony's video game division may have turned around, but the company is doing terrible in most other markets.

Most people here fail to see that the article is about the company overall.

The console side? Maybe, we'll see soon enough. But on the handheld side? No.
