not sure why so many ppl think nintendos customer service is good

they have the worst ive ever seen. if your 3DS is damaged, they charge you 95 dollars to fix the case, or 130 to fix the screens. if its a limited edition you're SOL. also they dont even stock anything but cosmo black for 3DS and they will not switch from 3DS to XL or XL to 3DS for you either. you're limited to whatever they have or theyll send it back unrepaired. their customer service employees usually are foreign and dont speak good english. they charged me 90 dollars for a faulty launch wii misaligned laser, i waited a week and a half to get it back they didnt even fix it i had to send it in a second time, and they charged me. the DS Lite hinge crack isnt covered by warranty, niether is the 3DS scratching itself, or fewer than 2 dead pixels. their customer service absolutely sucks. theyre also rude to you if you say that you deserve anything, they tell YOu what you deserve.

I never have a lot of extra money laying around, but this is why I NEVER send anything in for repirs. $130 to fix the screens? plus shipping (unless shipping is free whcih I doubt) and a month+ wait? No thanks. I'll just sell the broken system for scrap and go buy a brand new system for almost as much as they would charge me to repair my old one (A brand new system would probably be cheaper if the shipping is not covered.)

shipping is covered if you either print out your own label, or you wait for them to mail you one in an envelope.
