Vita has more third party, western, and indie support, why?

More sports games as well. Do third party games sell better on the Vita, despite its much smaller install base? I know Indies are saying that Vita has a much healthier digital shop than the 3ds, but it hard to believe considering the huge difference in systems sold.

Because GRAFIX, and that's what's apparently most important to westerners.

And dual analog for the shootin'.

Except when it comes to Nintendo games.

Only response I have to this topic is that Nintendo systems have historically not been popular with sports titles ever since the Super Nintendo.

And also, Nintendo has not been popular with Electronic Arts since Super Nintendo.

Different markets. Vita is basically a portable PS360 while 3DS is more of a traditional handheld gaming device.

how do you turn this on?

I don't think the Vita has more 3rd party support than the 3DS. More western and indie support yes, but not more 3rd party.

The 3ds may have more jrpg support but if you are not into those, the only thing left to play are nintendo games and the occasional eshop game.

Most probably because its not true, and that the 3DS is the better handheld. while Vita is catered towards the casuals who prefer smartphone type of games like men's room mayhem and jetpack joyride.

jrpgs are awesome, and not all jrpgs are the same. Vita's best games are also jrpgs.
