I watched a little bit of gameplay for spirit tracks and it looked fun.

They are pretty good. Don't expect masterpieces, and know that the touchscreen is essential to both, and you should have a fun time.

There great ds games, but compared to other Zelda
Games there not very good, if you have a 3ds get ocarina of time
3D, and if you only have a ds you should get spirit tracks

P.S. the ds games Are also pretty easy, but ocarina's not that much
More difficult

Agreed. Not up to par by comparison, but not a CDI level disaster :p

Disappointing.

Phantom Hourglass works all right as a sequel to Wind Waker, but the central conceit, a dungeon featuing invincible enemies and timed stealth to which you have to return multiple times through the game kill the fun. Oh, and the touchscreen-only controls are pretty badly implemented, making moves like the roll hard to pull off. And if you didn't like the sailing in Wind Waker, you won't like it here, either.

Spirit Tracks is the better of the two games. Having Zelda as a constant companion adds some much-needed character to an otherwise rather stale game. Touchscreen controls are better implemented, and the roll in particular is easier to pull off this time. However, the overworld is /literally/ on rails and doesn't offer much in the way of exploration. And the invincible enemies from PH return, and in one notoriously difficult segment, invincible trains that kill you in one shot make an appearance.

I might also add that if, for whatever reason, your mic doesn't work, both games will give you a hard time.

I'd advise you get spirit tracks 1st cause phantom hourglass is not neerly as
Good as spirit tracks and in phantom hourglass you have to go through the same
Temple bits at a time and its pretty annoying

P.S. if you have a Nintendo console I'd also try some of the other 3d games

I love both the DS Zelda very much and Toon Link is too cute.

I would recommend getting Spirit Track 1st.

You might find moving around the with the train too slow,so i wouldn't recommend catching all 50 of the hidden rabbits.

i dont recommend you play either of those horrible games but if you are devoted to the idea, then choose whichever. theyll give you the same subpar feeling/experience. if you want my actual recommendation, get okamiden. its a better zelda ds game than the zelda ds games are.
