It is a pretty amazing game too, if I'm honest. More of a niche sleeper hit than anything else.

There are plenty of old DS games going for 50+ dollars. I call that expensive.

Even the used ones are around $30.

Thats why games like this I just preorder and buy new on release.
$30 is not expensive. You can get it for $35 new free shipping from amazon. I would go that route. Thats standard ds game pricing.
Of course, if you want it used, just look for it at Gamestop, $19 used. search the site to see if its near you.

Not when it's limited run. $50 is a bargain for some limited released games.
Supply and demand dictates prices, not little boys wishes.
If you want the prices for these games to drop, then more people need to purchase these games day one giving the publishers reason to release more copies on future products. Waiting for a cheaper used version or clearance price on these types of games is not going to give the publishers any incentive to produce larger qtys. Imagine if this was before the internet, you wouldn't even be able to find games so easily for $50, you would have to actually put time and additional money towards tracking down hard to find games, or get really lucky.
You cannot expect retailers to hold onto stock on games after 1-2 years espcailly if the product isn't moving on a regular basis, and the longer a game is off the shelf the harder it is to find, and the more value it becomes to collectors.

Sorry, your reasoning is lost on most people.
I totally agree with you and am picking up this baddie at $40, especially since it's brand new.

I remember buying RF3 for 10 bucks during a sale at gamestop back in like 2010.

Never played one and can't wait til RF4 is released....getting closer.

I might go pick up 1,2,3 as there are 3 remaining copies within 5 miles of me.

After that I'd have to drive 25-30 miles..

Only have money for two of them though. which should I get ? 1&2....2&3.....1&3 ?
