I'm wondering what game made most people pitch in the money for a 3DS, or if they just got it on a whim, or faithfully at launch. Personally, Kingdom Hearts 3D was what sold me on the system, and I got a Flame Red 3DS (now discontinued, unfortunately) a week before the game was released in America. Flame Red 3DS is still available. I just checked Amazon and they're for sale brand new.
Anyway the game that made me decide to get a 3DS was Super Mario 3D Land.
It was a pretty recent discontinuation. There's going to be a lot of stock that still has to be sold before it becomes rare. --- I am a Christian, and proud of it. Founder of the deviantArt Noivern Fan Club! http://noivern-fan-club.deviantart.com/
Mainly Paper Mario & Animal Crossing. Paper Mario was disappointing, but I'm loving New Leaf. Had my 3DS (Flame Red) since April 2012. --- "Oops! Zat vas not medicine!" - Medic 3DS Friend Code: 2148-9064-3896 / Steam - http://steamcommunity.com/id/IncendiaryPyro
The promise of a kick-ass paper Mario, the vídeos looked promising and I got the system cheap six months before the game launched. Sticker Star was lackluster but there is so much else to play that I really don't mind. --- Playing: Animal Crossing: New Leaf (3DS), Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D (3DS)
