Has anyone ever played either of the DS Zelda games?

I am wondering if you are able to control Link with the stick now instead of the touch screen on the 3DS? I just remember playing them at a store one time and didn't care for the controls. I know for Metroid Hunters and Mario 64 you can use the stick on the 3DS.

no why would you? the stick mimics the dpad for DS games.

All DS games are played in DS mode when played on 3DS; therefore, they're played exactly the same as on a DS system. Essentially, your 3DS becomes a DS during DS-gameplay.

I had only played for about a minute or two a few years ago. How are the controls and would it be worth it try and find them and play?

Or should I just not worry about them and just stick to Ocarina of Time, which I have?

I think I would have liked them even more if they were DPad controlled and only special weapons required the touchscreen, but the 2 games were definitely great as it is. :)

No, you still have to use the touch screen. Neither of the DS Zelda games are very good.

Honestly, you can get better Zelda games for a lower cost just buying Ages and Seasons on the eShop...
