Do you think the 3D slider will be missing from Nintendo's next handheld?

I'd prefer it to go away. I can't even see the 3D, for one. But also, I don't know anyone who even uses the 3D slider much less feels like they can't live without it.

I'm leaning heavily towards picking up a Vita over a 3DS right now. Especially since the 3DS is being really stingy with its potential to support SNES and GBA on the VC and there's not a whole lot that I'm personally looking forward to on the 3DS aside from Bravely Default and Smash Bros.

Of course, with the Vita, there's this weird feeling like "this is it" for Sony, like there won't be a new Sony handheld and the Vita will stop being supported in 4-5 years at the most and that'll be that.

I dunno. Vita gives me weird vibes. I feel like Nintendo will always be in the handheld market, always innovating and doing... stuff.

I use the 3D all the time. If the focus on raw power/image fidelity in the next handheld I wouldn't mind though.

Vita is kind of a waste of space... its game library is disappointing.

Yes because it wont be 3D.

Most people play with it off it seems most of the time spent playing. It's good sometimes but people clearly don't want it all the time.

I also heard last year Nintendo won't force games to have 3D on the 3DS.

I have both and so far I greatly prefer my 3DS. Better buttons and what not. The graphics of the Vita aren't all that amazing as far as I'm concerned anyways. I like the 3D and I start to screw up 3D Mario games without it.

Getting the Vita up and running sure does cost a fair chunk of change, though. You blow through a 4 GB like nothing and most the titles I want to get are off PSN so... I'd need a 32 GB card. Which is absurd. Might as well get a PS4 at that point. Blah.

Blah. Blah. Blaaaaah.

I hope not, I always play with the 3D all the way up, and most people I've seen play it with 3D at least halfway up, it's a really neat feature that adds a lot of immersion.

People that say that nobody uses it forgets that the Internet is the vocal minority, most people only go online to diss stuff, not praise it. While most people uses it and doesn't go around saying they do.

Hopefully so.

I've only had my 3DS for a few days now, but I never cared much for the 3D even before purchasing it and I still don't even after purchasing it. I can't find the 'sweet' spot, and I always see either blurry picture or double picture on the screen no matter how close, far away, left, or right I am from the screen. I feel the 3D probably drains the battery faster anyway, so I think I can do without it personally.

This is precisely my issue. Every time I've messed with it at Best Buy or GameStop. =|
