I just wanna get a sample of what percentage of them have a faulty pixel. I'd like to import one from the US but I feel very uneasy about taking the risk of getting one with a dead/stuck pixel, especially since I'm a perfectionist with game consoles.

My XL does not but my Zelda edition has one. I exchanged the first Zelda one I bought that had one and the replacement had one too, was the only one they had left in stock so I just kept it

Hmm, I wonder if the XL has a lower chance of having it.

i'm a big supporter of XL over regular 3ds in almost every way.. but i highly doubt it has a less dead pixel chance. they're probably about equal, and probably fairly rare in both

It doesn't have any dead pixels, at least that I'm aware of. My DS Lite did have 1 but it never bothered me.

I haven't noticed any at least. The only system I've had that had a dead pixel was the original fat DS.
