Do you think the cutscenes were impressive? (Written response: Could it mean the 3DS is more powerful then what everyone thinks?) - Results (75 votes)

EDIT: Okay I know that cutscenes have nothing to do with the system's powers. So drop that question.
Correct me if I'm wrong doesn't the cutscenes look like it could easily be on the Wii U?

...Is this is a joke? Of course cutscenes look good. They aren't being rendered. I would like to see a Fire Emblem on Wii U using that artstyle, though.

The cutscenes in the game are beautiful, but they're videos, not realtime rendered game-engine cutscenes.

In SA2, it's Super Sonic and Hyper Shadow.

The style was magnificent, and the animation held up pretty well.

That said, FMVs aren't indicative of a system's power. Chain of Memories on the GBA had great CG cutscenes as well.

Had a Street Fighter signature for four years, but Crapcom doesn't deserve such recognition anymore.

Yep, I love the style. Certainly better than the poorly-animated anime cutscenes found in Tales and Persona 3/4.

Though they're obviously prerendered, so saying that they look like they should be on the Wii U is silly. They could be done on PS2, I'm sure.

For those players who don't speak Australian, we have provided an English translation of the previous scene. Do you want to replay the scene?

The overall audiovisual presentation in the game is one of the strongest parts of it.

So yes.

Does it really make sense to call it Fire Emblem 13 when two of those games were remakes?

Not too thrilled with how few of them were there, though. They're also the only scenes in the game with full voice acting, which sucked.

But for what it's worth, I found them quite good.

Yeah, I believed I acknowledge that. Doesn't make me an idiot.
