Just walk? Hell I can walk around our Walmart going around the entire store and get around 1000 Steps.

Unfortunately, walking with the 3DS, is really the quickest, and only way to get more coins.

Who'd have thought walking was the best way to utilize a pedometer?

Does nobody just walk with the thing?

It literally only takes a few minutes.

I usually walk it myself nearly daily. Takes about 10 minutes give or take a minute.

Huh. I usually take a five minute walk around the block with it and have max coins when I get back.

Could just be a difference in clothing, how the 3DS fits, and the shake factor included with walking in these situations.

You don't even have to take it anywhere, just walk around your house with it. When you go to the bathroom, take it. When you go to the kitchen, take it with. You'd be surprised how many coins you get just walking around your house.

Come on, you know what I was talking about. But just to be clear, since you may not fully understand, I'm saying that there's no other way to earn play coins, other than walking around with the system. It's the only way. Which is good, since I love to walk, but dumb, because if you don't time-travel with the 3DS every 1000 steps, you'll get your 10-coin-maximum for the day very easily.

In the case of what happened earlier this year, however, when I got bronchitis(already an asthmatic), and had to be rushed to the hospital by ambulance for the first time in my life, I couldn't even walk for 30 steps, not to mention the 1000 required. At least, not until I recovered. Guess what I did? I shook the 3DS(sparingly, due to asthma, mind you), because there was NO OTHER WAY to earn coins, other than using the pedometer.

Changed my sig, because Mega Man in Smash Bros. is all that matters, now. Except Sonic. Not changing this part until he's announced.

That was pretty snarky of me. >_>

But heck, I'm not saying it's wrong to shake the system or that no one is allowed to. I do it on the rare occasion that I don't get to walk around with it and it's almost midnight. The right rhythm can get 1000 steps in about 8 minutes.

If you're a dude, shaking your hand for 8 minutes isn't anything new.

But seriously, it's pretty insane how easy it is to get 1000 steps. I woke up this morning, walked up and down the stairs twice and paced for a minute, and already had like 150 steps.

Yeah, but there's a weight difference. The 3DS is much lighter than what I usually shake for 8 minutes.
