Do you think we will get a Metroid game for 3DS in 2014?

Looking ahead Nintendo doesn't have a whole lot announced for 2014. Bravery Defaut for NA, Super Smash Bros, Mario Golf, and Yoshi's New Island. That's it. Mario Party is scheduled for Winter 2013, maybe a December release following ALBW in November.

So, do you guys think we get a Metroid game next year? Nintendo typically releases around ten first party games a year for their handheld (counting Lego City, this year it's 11) sometimes more, very rarely less. So that leaves approximately about 6 unannounced games for 2014, maybe more. Hopefully DQVII is one of those, but that's off topic.

Prime 4 would be legendary.

Or Fusion 2.

Don't like my opinion? Gosick. There is a reason it is MY opinion and not yours.

M:OM single-handedly strangled the life force out of the Metroid series.

You are forgetting Proffessor layton and the Azran Legacies.

Also Proffessor layton vs ace attorney is being hinted at for localization so release in 2014 is likely. Fantasy life seems likely to come as as well and I can easily see DQVII happening as well.

My posts often aren't usually serious. But they are seriously funny.

No. It can't have. I refuse to believe it.

I hope we get a Metroid game for 3DS, but I hope Mercury Steam do not develop it, they did enough damage already ruining Castlevania.

I would guess so. It's one of Nintendo's best-selling franchises, and Nintendo has implied that they plan to keep the 3DS train (steam)rolling down the tracks in 2014.

It's really not. The series' lifetime sales are at best 20 million. Even Kirby outclasses that.
