My 3DS won't connect to the internet (but my gf's does?)

Basically as titled:

I got my 3DS (not new) today and it doesn't connect to the internet. I've tried it several times, so as to make sure I didn't input the internet key wrong and every time it comes up with a 003-1103 error.

On the other hand, my gf's 3DS connects to the same modem with no issues.

Faulty DS or?

Is your Wireless enabled?

My daughter almost always disables the wireless and she gets upset when she can't get into Eshop or Netflix.

The switch on the right hand side, in home menu look at the upper left screen to see if its enabled.

Yeah, I turned the wireless switch on the first thing. It's an orange light

Probably faulty system. I put my modem's key in mine and it worked right away.

Maybe she put a MAC filter on the modem to mess with you.

Does any other device in your house have a problem? It might be a faulty 3ds.

You can't get into the Internet Settings if your wireless is off :P.

The wireless light is light-green. Also, you can go to the Nintendo website for help. Or ask you girlfriend for help.
