Is Super Mario 2 in Eshop?

It's the one on the NES I'm thinking. It's the game where you can pick 4 characters and pick up rocks and turnips from the ground to throw at baddies. I didn't get to play that game much,I've just seen people play it a lot. I grew up playing sega and never owned a Nintendo console. Except now I have a 3DS. So can I buy it there?

You know I have been wanting Mario All Stars on this console...Mario All Stars has this game in the game itself but yes it should be on the console and not the old 'suppose challenging' NES games

Not on the 3DS eShop, but it is on the Wii U eShop. That probably isn't very helpful.

There is another SMB2 that was only released in Japan; it's basically Super Mario Bros. 1 with much harder levels. Outside of Japan we usually refer to it as Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels so we don't confuse it with the one you're referring to.

If you like a challenge, you might try Lost Levels while you wait for SMB2... whenever it'll come out. Soon, hopefully.

I'm not exactly "normal." Hope this isn't a problem.

SMB2 isn't the same as SMB2 if that makes sense. Like Willware said the lost levels is not the same as SMB2. But the game TC is talking about has a trailer on the eshop on the 3ds so it will come soon

The game TC is talking about, SMB2US (a.k.a. reskinned Doki Doki Panic) is currently out on the 3DS eShop. In America, at least.
