Thanks for the tip; I just visited the other day and there was no such survey, and wouldn't you know it, it appears today and expires today as well. Why do they make surveys that hardly anyone is gonna get to answer?

I think the bonus survey is given the day you log in next and your eligible to get it and its set to where it expires that day it is so it doesn't hang around should you choose not to do it. Not sure though.

Thank god I read this, it expires today D: but yeah I got it. Only took about 2 minutes. I guess Nintendo has some issues with packaging or something...

Mine showed up on the 26th, and for the record, I honestly don't care if the manual is downloadable or physical. They were nice in the days before the internet was integrated into every aspect of our lives, but frankly they're not anywhere close to as necessary now. I didn't mind that SMT IV came without one (although to be fair, there's a guidebook included with the physical copies), and some 360 games I've bought have forgone them entirely. I don't think Gears 3 had anything but an insert explaining the basic controls.

Manuals have and will always be useless for me. In my opinion you might as well just save the paper and not have them.

**** trees in the ear, I want those two clips in the case that hold manuals to actually serve their purpose. Hold my documentation!

Screw the manuals. I want more mini-art books!

The details of the formula Nintendo uses is complicated, but I think we can assume some things:

You got this survey on the 27th if:

1. You bought a 3DS game this Club Nintendo year (in the last 27 days)

2. You commented in the comments section about something related to manuals or packaging.

3. You logged in to Club Nintendo on the 27th.

I didn't get the survey, but it made me lol when the last game I got came with a huge paper manual explaining how to use the electronic manual: it was bigger than most actual paper game manuals I've received in the past few years. There's no way that thing should have been more than one page.
