Dear Nintendo, i would happily pay for a N+ service, with a proper account system and online save backup for ALL my digital games (including AC:NL), some "free" games now and then, and a proper miiverse app for my 3DS.
And i think a few millions people also would.
So now, why don't you do it already?
Could somebody deliver this message to Iwata in person? thanks.
Why should we have to pay for such a service? The accountbound digital games locker should be free, at least. If I had to pay for it with a monthly/yearly fee at all, I would ditch Nintendo.
Of course i would like it to be free. But it would cost them millions to maintain the servers for this, and the 3DS wasn't build around it, it isn't something they see as mandatory for the system.
A anual fee with some bonuses would be totally acceptable, and would help them to improve their network and online services as a whole. If MS and Sony are charging us for this, how on Earth can Nintendo alone match their services without charging their consumers for the same services?
An account system still won't necessarily allow game sharing, and that's why 99% of people want it even if they're only sharing with themselves.
Even PSN only allows two handheld devices to be active at one time (down from 5 years ago). And that's just for games - watching PSN videos is locked to a single device.
(Also - while you can deactivate games from systems via the Playstation website, you cannot deactivate videos from a system - you have to either do it from the console in question (which can be spotty at best) or call Sony and have them literally deactivate every console.
