Why does the 2DS still have 3D cameras?

I don't think it'd be a dealbreaker to not be able to take 3D Photos>......

I'm worried that one day I'll be getting a drink of water from a water fountain and someone will come up behind me and slam my head down.

So that the photos can be viewed in 3D if they are transferred to a 3DS.

The 3D not 3D photos is a frivolous secondary benefit...

The real reason of the two cameras are the AR games and functions, since it seems they depend on using both cameras at the same time, even if the 3D switch is off...sure, the AR are used by very few games (less than the circle pad pro maybe?) but they are an important bulletpoint of the system, considering the inclusion of the AR games on all 3DS models. Plus, there are some games out there that need the AR functions to even work (I.E. Spirit Camera).

Good point. I forgot about the AR stuff and games that need the 3D camera.
